Practices and home games will be held at Wayzata Central MS & Wayzata HS. Away games will be scheduled at various fields of Lake Minnetonka Athletic Association members.

Monday-Thursday 6-8pm
Above is a general outline - your head coach will communicate schedule specifics.
Games
-Most Saturdays
-Additionally one or two weeknight games
The game schedule is released by LMAA in late Aug.
Equipment
WPYF Provides:
- Helmet
- Game jersey
- Pants
Players Provide:
- Shoulder pads
- Mouth guard
- Cleats
- Practice jersey
- Gloves (optional)
Team Formation
4th & 5th Grade
Players are assigned to teams by elementary school whenever possible. Roster sizes and coach availability are also considered during the team formation process.
6th, 7th & 8th Grade
Team rosters are formed via an "Equidraft" system. Equidraft is an evaluation and selection process where the objective is to create teams that have an equal distribution of player talent on each team.
Coaching
We are a 100% volunteer organization that depends on parent coaches. Our program is made possible by the generous individuals who donate their time to work with the players. Please consider coaching your player’s team.
